Missouri Evening Primrose produces huge bright yellow flowers on low growing mounds of foliage. It sprawls and can form a ground cover if allowed. Each flower only blooms for a day, but the plant puts out new blooms each night. Because it blooms at night, it is a good pollinator for many species of moths! The seed pods are an interesting shape and color in the fall.
