Helianthus mollis--Downy Sunflower

Downy Sunflower (sometimes called Ashy Sunflower) can create large stands of bright yellow flowers in the late summer. It has high wildlife value, but can be aggressive in a smaller landscape setting. Removing seeds before they fall can help keep it from spreading if desired.
